What matters more

This is a transparent bottle, really. But if you look further, to the inside, you find a little magic in there. Now if the bottle was dirty or scratched from the outside, that would make it somewhat harder to appreciate the beauty residing inside of it. Now imagine the bottle as clean as it is, with nothing inside. Then this bottle would not be particularly interesting, would it?
I guess both matter: the outside and the inside. In my humble opinion, the inside matters more. But this is the reflection of my individual taste. The inside of people (their soul), of food and drinks (the taste), of any place we go (the inner experience) always matters more to me than the outside.
But saying that the outside is negligible would be a blunt lie, too. We just have to find a healthy balance...I am still looking :-)
